SUNYIT will welcome students from two dozen school districts and the public to the 12th annual Mohawk Valley Technology Education and Pre-Engineering Showcase Thursday, March 14, 1-6 p.m., in the Wildcat Field House. The event will include student technology displays, student technology competitions, business and industry displays, and upstate New York college admissions information.

"Student demonstrations, displays and competitions this year will include bridge building, catapults, robotics, 'junkyard wars,' CO2 car races, mousetrap vehicles, digital photography, 'KidWind' and more," says Elizabeth Rossi, event coordinator. "Representatives from regional colleges and companies will also set up displays that inspire students to consider engineering and technology college and career paths."

Families and friends are welcome to attend. The event is free and open to the public, and refreshments will be available.
