Dear SUNY Poly Faculty and Staff,

Due to inclement weather, beginning February 1, 2021, effective immediately for the remainder of today (may be extended as needed):

SUNY Poly administration is notifying all New York State employees that the Governor’s Office of Employee Relations is directing non-essential employees to leave work early and work remotely (telecommute) for the remainder of today, as state offices are closed in the counties listed below:

NYC (Bronx, Kings, New York, Queens, Richmond counties), Albany, Broome, Cayuga, Chemung, Chenango, Clinton, Columbia, Cortland, Delaware, Dutchess, Essex, Fulton, Greene, Hamilton, Herkimer, Madison, Montgomery, Nassau, Oneida, Onondaga, Orange, Otsego, Putnam, Rensselaer, Rockland, Saratoga, Schenectady, Schoharie, Schuyler, Seneca, Suffolk, Sullivan, Tioga, Tompkins, Ulster, Warren, Washington, Westchester, and Yates counties.

If a non-essential employee cannot work remotely, accruals do not have to be used for today. In that scenario, or if you have any questions, please contact Rhonda Haines, Vice President of Human Resources, or Audra Cornelius, Assistant Director of Benefits.
