Re: Interim Director of Admissions

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Gina Liscio as Interim Director of Admissions, effective immediately. Gina is a consummate professional who has very ably served SUNY Poly for the last eight years, most recently as Senior Admission Advisor and Interim Coordinator of Transfer Admission. She will transition out of her current role, and we will begin searching for her replacement. At the same time, I expect Gina will be an excellent candidate for the permanent Director of Admissions position. As many of you know, that search is well underway, and the interviewing of candidates has begun.

This is the most competitive landscape we have seen in student recruitment in a generation. Our success with enrollment at SUNY Poly over the last few years has been fueled by new programs, better facilities and committed faculty and staff. I am certain Gina is the right person at the right time to continue leading us in this positive direction. Please join me in congratulating her.
