Dear members of the SUNYIT community,

On Saturday morning, October 26, we will be welcoming approximately 200 prospective students and 500 people in total to campus for our Fall Open House. These are students and families very much in the middle of the college search process, and we want to be sure they have the best experience possible while on campus.

With this in mind, I want to ask each of you to do your part in making this a special day, whether you are faculty, staff, or student volunteers. Faculty, a 20-minute lecture or demonstration for families who stop by your area would be a great way to showcase your program; students, show your Wildcat spirit, and tell prospective students about your favorite club, activity or team.

This is the most competitive admission year in decades; we need to show our visitors why SUNYIT might be just the right choice for them. Remember: 53 students who attended this event in 2012 enrolled.

Hope to see you there,

Bob Geer

Acting President
