We are accepting nominations for the 2017 Chancellor’s Award for Student Excellence. As you know, this award recognizes outstanding students who have integrated academic excellence with leadership, engagement, and service to their campus and community, as well as achievements in the arts, athletics, and/or a career field.

The deadline for submitting nominations is January 17, 2017. In order to be eligible, a student must graduate between June 2016 and May 2017.

We ask that nominations include a brief bio on the nominated student and a short summary of accomplishments.   Please send your nomination to Abbie Gorczynski ( samg@sunypoly.edu ).

We have appointed a  committee, made up of staff and faculty from both campuses, which will review all nominations and forward our candidates to the President and then to SUNY System Administration for final consideration.

Those selected will be invited to an award ceremony to be held in early April.
