Come join us for the inaugural Mohawk Valley Mini Maker Faire, Saturday April 16 from 12:00-4:00 p.m. at SUNY Poly in Utica!  The Mini Maker Faire is an interactive celebration of the spirit of creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship featuring over 40 makers and exhibitors from around the Mohawk Valley and beyond.  Come to learn about 3D-printing, see live-steaming videos from drones, build and launch paper rockets, participate in creating a mosaic artwork, and more!

And be sure to check out our signature project, the collaborative UtiCARproject coordinated by Sculpture Space artist Marc-Anthony Polizzi and Steve Hale of Steve's Restorations and Hot Rods.  Steve is one of the featured artists and artisans of the History Channel's American Restoration and together with other Mohawk Valley makers will lead faire-goers in ARTifying the UtiCAR, transforming a rusty 1999 Jeep Cherokee into...well, you'll just have to come to the Mohawk Valley Mini Maker Faire to find out!

Tickets are free and those who register will be entered into a drawing for all sorts of cool maker-related items.  And if you want to help out, you can v olunteer.  Tell your friends, tell your family -- this is a free, family-friendly event that has something for everyone!  Get your ticketsnow and spread the word: #makerfaireMV
