Thank you to everyone who joined us on Monday for the SEFA Kick Off lunch.

We were also joined by Brenda Episcopo, CEO, Executive Director at United Way, and Chelsey Lawson, SEFA Representative.  They informed us that SUNY Poly is the biggest donator in the Herkimer/Madison/Oneida area.

In addition, the giving rate at SUNY Poly is 33%, which means that 1 out of every 3 SUNY Poly employees gives to SEFA.  When you consider that the national workplace giving rate is 21%, that is very impressive!

Last year, we were able to raise $10,519 through SEFA pledges.  This year, we are hoping to exceed that amount and reach $12,000.  This can only be possible with your help.

Please be expecting to receive a pledge form this week from your team captain.  You may also visit the SEFA website and print the pledge form there.

When you are considering where to have your contribution allocated, you may do a charity search on the SEFA page and look in the Herkimer/Madison/Oneida section if you want your money to go for local charities.  That link may be found here.
