Utica, NY – SUNY Polytechnic Institute (SUNY Poly) is thrilled to announce its February School Break Camps. Part of the SUNY Poly Spotlight Series, these camps are designed to inspire creativity, spark curiosity, and provide kids with engaging hands-on activities during their time off from school. Designed for pre-collegiate students aged 12-15, these hands-on, interactive camps cover a wide range of topics, from robots and STEM to dinosaurs and health awareness.

Running from February 18-20, these workshops provide students with a unique opportunity to learn from industry professionals, SUNY Poly faculty, and student leaders. Each program is tailored to encourage critical thinking, creativity, and real-world application and all facilitated by expert instructors in SUNY Poly’s state-of-the-art facilities.

“We’re excited to offer these camps as an opportunity for kids to learn new skills, discover their passions, and experience the innovative environment of SUNY Poly,” said John Reade, Director of Pre-Collegiate Outreach. “Our goal is to provide a memorable and enriching experience for every camper.”

All camps will cost $25 or less and take place in the Makers Lab, part of the Center for Global Advanced Manufacturing (CGAM), located in Donovan Hall at SUNY Poly. Registration for both the morning and afternoon camps, on the same day, will include a free lunch at the dining hall in the Campus Center.
