Congrats to the winning teams and good luck in Virginia!”
For the first time, 24 teams from the 11 U.S. Drone Soccer Districts are invited to compete for the National Championship trophy. The winning team at Nationals will become Team USA, representing the country in international competitions sanctioned by the World Air Sports Federation (FAI.org).
The Growth of Drone Soccer in New York
Introduced nationally in 2021 by Drone Sports, Inc., U.S. Drone Soccer integrated STEM education with competitive gameplay. CNY Drones, serving as District II Director, worked with SUNY Poly to develop a regional technical support hub, train educators, and expand competitions across New York and New Jersey. Through leagues, summer camps, and ranked events, they connected students with hands-on STEM learning opportunities.
