Times Union: Students visit SUNY Poly to learn about nanotechnology

ALBANY -- SUNY Polytechnic Institute's Colleges of Nanoscale Science and Engineering hosted 300 middle and high school students on Wednesday for the quarterly NanoCareer Day program.

Students from six counties took part in nanotechnology-enabled activities, including the chance to gown up in cleanroom "bunny" suits, learn how small a nanometer is, investigate polymers and tour SUNY Poly CNSE's $24 billion Albany NanoTech Complex. They also were able to find out about high-tech careers.
