The SUNY Polytechnic Institute Alumni Association sponsored a recruitment forum  Thursday night at the SUNY Poly campus in Albany for GlobalFoundries, the micro chip manufacturer that has a factory in Saratoga County.

Alain Kaloyeros, the president of SUNY Poly, said the event was perfect after the recent announcement of GlobalFoundries’ new $500 million lithography program at SUNY Poly known as the Advanced Patterning and Productivity Center.

“The GlobalFoundries employer information session is a perfect example of how Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s leadership has created a seamless education and career pathway providing globally recognized corporations with the highly skilled workforce they require while offering SUNY Poly’s students unparalleled career opportunities right here in New York state,” Kaloyeros said.
