Albany — SUNY Polytechnic Institute will offer a bachelor's degree in interactive video game design at its Utica campus. The program that will focus on the next generation of games and media powered by virtual reality and augmented reality technology such as PokemonGo.

"Video games and interactive media are among the fastest growing forms of entertainment in the world and more students than ever are expressing an interest in working in these medium," said SUNY Poly president Alain Kaloyeros.
