This month, SUNY Poly’s Title IX Working Group will continue to distribute and promote a sex discrimination awareness and prevention program for students,  Not Anymore .  In order to educate the SUNY Poly community on Governor Cuomo’s “Enough is Enough” legislation and in support of SUNY Poly’s commitment to prevent sexual assault and sex discrimination, SUNY Poly has implemented an interactive on-line program called  Not Anymore. This program will help students better understand how vitally important these issues are and how we can all work together to maintain a safe environment.  SUNY Poly takes pride in providing an enlightening college experience, which demands a safe and healthy student environment.  To that end, we are requiring that all students view  Not Anymore an online interpersonal violence prevention program from Student Success. This video-based program will provide critical information about new comprehensive procedures and guidelines which include Affirmative Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking, and much more.   The program takes approximately two hours to complete, and students will be able to save their place in the program and re-enter to complete in several sittings.

The Not Anymore online program will be available to take as of Wednesday, August 10, 2016.  All new students will receive access instructions and log-in information through their college email address. New students, or students who failed to complete the program last academic year, are expected to complete the program no later than Monday, September 26, 2016 (however we strongly encourage students to complete the program before the start of the academic semester, August 29th).   By completing prior to August 29, 2016, this will ensure that students are educated and trained on Title IX before the official start of the academic year.
