TITLE IX on the 9th

This month, SUNY Poly's Title IX Working Group is happy to introduce a new sex discrimination awareness and prevention program for students, Not Anymore .  In order to educate the SUNY Poly community on Governor Cuomo’s new “Enough is Enough” legislation and in support of SUNY Poly’s commitment to combat sexual assault and sex discrimination, SUNY Poly has implemented an interactive on-line program called Not Anymore which will help students better understand how vitally important these issues are and how we can all work together to maintain a safe environment.  SUNY Poly takes pride in providing an enlightening college experience, which demands a safe and healthy student environment.  To that end, we are requiring that all students view Not Anymore ,an online interpersonal violence prevention program from Student Success. This video-based program will provide critical information about new comprehensive procedures and guidelines which include Affirmative Consent, Bystander Intervention, Sexual Assault, Dating and Domestic Violence, Stalking, and much more.

All SUNY Poly Students are required to complete the Not Anymore online program by Friday, October 9, 2015 .  Instructions and log-in information will be provided to the student population via a separate email.  The program takes approximately two hours to complete, and students will be able to save their place in the program and re-enter to complete in several sittings.

Thank you,
