TROY - SUNY Poly Children’s Museum of Science and Technology held an event today to keep kids busy during break week, while learning a little bit of history too.

To kick off vacation from school, on Monday the museum hosted science projects related to Galileo’s Gravity Games. Galileo’s Gravity Games celebrates the great scientific achievements of the forefather of the scientific revolution Galileo. Long ago Galileo experimented by dropping balls off the Leaning Tower of Pisa and it would only make sense to celebrate his birthday with a day full of similar scientific experiments.

Children at the museum could also participate in other non-scientific activities throughout the day such as playing with the Magnetic Ball Wall or by listening in on interesting facts related to the Hudson River, along with many other fun activities to choose from.

More information about the vacation day camps can be found online at www.cmost.org/camps/vacation_camp.php or by calling 235-2120.
