Violence Prevention Program and Child Sexual Abuse Reporting Training

We will be holding our mandatory annual training for employees on:

  • Domestic Violence
  • Workplace Violence and
  • Child Sexual Abuse Reporting and Prevention

These trainings are mandatory for employees annually and since we know your time is valuable, we have grouped them together for your convenience. Please RSVP to Caitlin Dempsey (dempseca@sunypoly.edu or ext. 7191) as soon as possible to ensure an accurate headcount. The trainings will be first come first serve.

Location: Kunsela Hall C108/110

November 3 (Tues.) – 12:00pm to 1:00pm

Alternatively, there are a limited number of "seats" available for a WebEx version of this training taking place simultaneously at 12pm with the live class.

Please note if you would like to attend the live class or the WebEx version of the course, both of which will be first come first serve.

This is in accordance with the guidelines set forth by SUNY Polytechnic Institute, State University of New York, and the Department of Labor that we provide training and information to all employees regarding workplace violence.

The State University of New York Board of Trustees adopted a policy to mandate the reporting of incidents of child sexual abuse on University property and at University-sponsored events, and to take steps to prevent such incidents. The Board directs all SUNY campuses to adopt local procedures to provide employee training on the identification of such crimes and proper notification requirements.
