It is that time of year again, and Freshman Orientation and Move-In Day for our students is quickly approaching on Thursday, August 21st, 2014! This campus-wide event is a huge endeavor that takes collaboration from all departments on campus. The Orientation Task Committee needs volunteers to assist with all facets of the program from greeting guests to campus move-in at our residence halls, to shuttle drivers for picking up and returning NYC students to the Utica train station, and much more!
If you are interested in volunteering on Move-In day, we are looking for volunteers to move students into both Oriskany and Adirondack Residences, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and we ask that when you sign up that you commit to at least a two-hour time slot.
If you would like to volunteer your efforts and help make this a wonderful experience for our students, please contact the office of Campus and Corporate Events (792-7819) or email Connie Castellano at castelc@sunypoly.edu, as soon as possible! The Orientation Task Committee thanks you in advance for any assistance you can offer.
