It is that time of year again, and Freshman Orientation and Move-In Day for our students is quickly approaching on Thursday, August 21, 2014! This campus-wide event is a huge endeavor that takes collaboration from all departments on campus. The Orientation Task Committee needs volunteers to assist with all facets of the program from greeting guests to campus to move-in at our residence halls, to shuttle drivers for picking up and returning NYC students to the Utica train station, and much more!

If you are interested in volunteering on Move-In Day, we are looking for volunteers to move students into both Oriskany and Adirondack Residences, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and we ask that when you sign up that you commit to at least a two-hour time slot.

If you would like to volunteer your efforts and help make this a wonderful experience for our students, please contact the office of Campus and Corporate Events (792-7819) or email Connie Castellano at castelc@sunypoly.edu, as soon as possible.  The Orientation Task Committee thanks you in advance for any assistance you can offer.
