In a letter to its investors, the company said that heavy snowfall has slowed its construction schedule. However, it notes the delays are still within their framework for completion.
On Tuesday, the first structural steel frame was taking shape at the Riverbend site, where crews have been working since last fall. The company says it will begin installing equipment early next year.
Solar City is receiving $750 million in New York State incentives as part of the Buffalo Billion plan that promises to create more than 3,000 jobs over the next 10 years.
