It's one-stop shopping tonight in Plattsburgh for people hoping to find work. A number of employers are taking part in a job fair, including Norsk Titanium. The room has been busy ever since the doors opened at 3:00 this afternoon and over forty employers are here at the West Side Ballroom. One of them is Norsk Titanium. The aerospace manufacturing firm is expected to start operations this fall.

Officials with the company say they're very excited to be here in the North Country and they're looking to fill all sorts of positions, from laborers to engineers. Organizers say they're expecting hundreds to attend the job fair.

Becky Manor, North Country Chamber of Commerce:

"Our average is right around 300 so with some of the different companies that we have here that haven't been in the past, I'm hoping for a higher number. But 300 is our average," said Becky Manor, North Country Chamber of Commerce.

This isn't the only job fair the chamber has hosted this year. They held another one this past May. Organizers say if you're looking for a new job and are planning on attending, you should bring your resume and dress for success.
