ALBANY, N.Y. - Hundreds of middle and high school students from eight counties throughout the Empire State are attending the Nano-Career Day at Albany's Nano-Tech Complex.

The students are taking part in hands-on, nano-technology-enabled activities that will be led by CNSE faculty members. They'll even have the chance to gown up in what's called a clean-room "bunny-suit," extract DNA from fruit, and take a tour of the $20 billion complex.

During Thursday's event, students are also learning about nano-technology's role in health applications and the increasing numbers of high tech jobs in New York State.
