The city of Utica is filled with stories of refugees who have come to the city to seek refuge from war, and political or ethnic strife.

They've escaped the Vietnam war, the Bosnian war, the Iraq war, ethnic conflict and genocide in places such as Cambodia, Burma, Sudan and Bhutan.

Now their stories are being told in The Faces of Refugee Resettlement at the SUNY Polytechnic Institute. Numerous portraits by Suny Poly alum and staff member Lynne Browne are on display. She has been attending and documenting cultural events this way since 2012.

Another part of the exhibit is a 5x8 foot collage of photos curated by SUNY Poly Associate Professor Dr. Kathryn Stam.
