Parent & Supporter Orientation Information and Payment Instructions

Parent & Supporter Orientation Information and Payment Instructions If incoming first-year parent(s) and/or family member(s) plan on attending the concurrent Parent & Supporter Orientation program on the same day as their student’s orientation, they can register through the same event registration form the student submits when selecting their orientation date. This program runs at the same time as the student program and is designed specifically for family members and supporters to help them better understand the college transition and support services available at SUNY Poly. There is a $45 fee per person for Parent & Supporter Orientation, which can be paid online prior to arrival. 

How to Make Payment

  1. Access the NelNet Payment Portal https://online.campuscommerce.com/signin/4L8SV 
  2. Select “Make Payment” from the home screen 
  3. When prompted with “Which account(s) would you like to pay?” select Students & Future Students 
  4. Select “Parent/Supporter Orientation” 
  5. Pay the $45 Fee Per Attendee- You will be directed to submit payment securely online. The fee is $45 per person attending. 
  6. Confirmation and Additional Information 
    1. After registration, a confirmation email will be sent. Families who indicate interest in attending will receive a follow-up message with additional details and reminders, including how to pay if payment has not already been made, at least one week prior to the scheduled Orientation event.
