Amela Hrustic is a dedicated public servant and community leader with extensive experience in electoral administration, legislative coordination, and community engagement. Currently serving as the Democratic Deputy Commissioner at the Oneida County Board of Elections, Amela plays a pivotal role in overseeing voter registration and election processes. She is instrumental in developing administrative procedures, managing public information initiatives, and training personnel to ensure fair and efficient elections.
Prior to her role at the Board of Elections, Amela served as Legislative Coordinator for the New York State Assembly's 119th District. She specialized in legislative research, event coordination, and public communications, crafting impactful correspondence and managing digital outreach for the Assemblymember.
Amela's professional journey includes experience as an Administrative Assistant at the Utica Academy of Science, where she coordinated events, managed office operations, and supported student programs.
