F. Christopher Giruzzi is a lifelong resident of the Mohawk Valley and was educated in Utica public schools. He holds a B.A. degree from the State University of New York at Plattsburgh and a Juris Doctorate from the Syracuse University School of Law. Upon his graduation from law school in 1995, Giruzzi began practice as an Associate with Giruzzi Law Offices. In 1999, he was named a Partner in the firm and in January of 2013 he opened F. Christopher Giruzzi, Esq. PLLC. Giruzzi is well versed in a variety of legal issues, including:
- Commercial and Residential Real Estate Law,
- Personal Injury,
- Estate Planning and Elder Law and
- Civil and Criminal Law,
- Matrimonial Law
Giruzzi is licensed to practice law in all state courts within the State of New York and the Federal District Court for the Northern District in New York. In 2007, Giruzzi was elected as the Frankfort Town Justice, where he handled criminal and civil matters. While serving as Town Justice, Giruzzi earned a reputation as being tough, but fair. As an active community member, he has served on a number of local Boards, including the Thea Bowman House, where is currently donates his time as a pro-bono counselor. Appointed to the College Council in 2013, Giruzzi is also actively involved in a number of professional associations, including the New York State Bar Association, the Oneida County Bar Association and the Herkimer County Bar Association.
