Appointed to the College Council in 2013, Nichole M. Hinman is a native of Rome, N.Y., and a graduate of Rome Free Academy. She earned a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia University in 2002 and a Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2006. While at Albany Law School, she served as an editor of the Albany Law Review.

Ms. Hinman is a Principal Court Attorney in the Unified Court System, Fifth Judicial District. She is admitted to the bar in New York, Massachusetts and New York federal courts.
