SUNY Polytechnic Institute offers online degree programs as well as a rich offering of online and online synchronous, and hybrid courses. Many campus-based degree programs also offer hybrid courses; hybrid courses are taught by the instructor via a mix of face-to-face and online instruction.

Courses are delivered via the Open SUNY Blackboard Learn system.   Student access to courses in Blackboard begins on the course start date, and ends twenty-one days after the course ends.  It is especially important for online learners to check their SUNY Poly e-mail regularly since official SUNY Poly communications are sent to student SUNY Poly e-mail addresses.
