The Aid for Part-Time Study (APTS) program provides grant assistance for eligible part-time students enrolled in approved undergraduate studies. Awards provide up to $2,000 per year for part-time undergraduate students enrolled in 3 to 11 credit hours studying at participating institutions in New York State. An APTS award cannot exceed tuition charges.

Students that meet the all of the various eligibility criteria can apply for APTS by:
- Submitting the FAFSA and TAP applications, as outlined on our Apply for + Maintain Aid webpage
- Submitting the Aid for Part-Time Study Application available on our "Forms" webpage
- Please note that funding is limited. Consequently, awards are made on a first-come, first-served basis.
- Application deadlines are as follows:
Fall Semester = August 1
Spring Semester = December 1
Summer Semester = APTS is not available
Students will be notified via their SUNY Poly email when their financial aid eligibility has been determined. Students should access their Banner Web Self Service account to review the financial aid they have been offered as no paper award letter will be mailed.
