Employee SITNet ID Account Activation

  1. Go to  https://banner.sunypoly.edu
  2. Click Enter Personal Information Secure Area option.
  3. Enter your campus email address for the User Id.
  4. Enter your date of birth in the format MMDDYY for the PIN. (Where YY is the last two digits of the year you were born.) for the password.
  5. The very first time you log into Banner you will be Prompted to set up your Multi-Factor Authentication.
  6. Choose the View/Update  Personal Information option .
  7. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and select the Create a security question and answer pair for your computer account. In the future, you must correctly answer your security question to change your password, reset a forgotten password.
  8. Click Submit.
  9. Select the Change Password option, follow the prompts the change your password. More Information
  10. Click Submit.
  11. Your SitNet username is in the first part of your email address (before the @ sign).
