Students + Families

Why Join LPP?

The Liberty Partnership Program (LPP) is a collaboration of 51 higher education institutions across New York State to support at-risk middle and high school students in their academic, social, and emotional development. Through meaningful programs, students engage more fully in their education and are more likely to graduate from high school and continue to higher education and/or the workforce.

LPP connects schools and community partners to offer research-based services, including tutoring, mentoring, socio-emotional counseling, and career/college exploration activities and enrichment. The program also provides support for students and their families.

During the summer, LPP students are invited to attend workshops, camps, and campus tours on SUNY Polytechnic Institute’s campus. These events are at no-cost to the families and provide support, opportunities, and camaraderie amongst their LPP peers.

How Do I Join?
