SUNY Poly Graduate Nursing Programs Earn Honors

Two online SUNY Poly Graduate Nursing Programs were recently recognized by RegisteredNursing.org and the Healthcare Management Degree Guide.
RegisteredNursing.org ranked SUNY Poly’s MSN programs, which encompass two master's programs – Family Nurse Practitioner and Nursing Education – second in the state. They said, “SUNY Polytechnic Institute's MSN programs offer a rigorous and innovative curriculum rooted in evidence-based practice and patient-centered care. The [School of] Nursing prides itself on producing highly skilled and culturally competent nurse leaders who are equipped with the knowledge and skills to make a positive impact in the ever-evolving healthcare landscape.”
Healthcare Management Degree Guide ranked SUNY Poly’s Nursing Education program ninth in the country. They say, “SUNY Poly offers one of the best online masters in nursing education for students who intend to pursue a PhD after earning their MSN. The program provides a broad view of nursing education with courses that range from the esoteric (“Theoretical Foundations for Nursing Practice”) to the eminently practical (“Grant Proposal”) while preparing grads for work in academia or in-house staff development.”
“These recognitions reflect the exceptional quality and dedication of SUNY Poly’s faculty and staff in delivering innovative, evidence-based nursing education,” said Dean of the College of Health Sciences Dr. Mark Kittleson. “Our MS programs prepare students to be culturally competent leaders who are ready to meet the demands of a rapidly changing healthcare landscape. It is an honor to see our efforts acknowledged both statewide and nationally. We remain committed to shaping the next generation of nurse practitioners, educators, and leaders.”
