Many parents and students are concerned about personal safety on college campuses. SUNY Polytechnic Institute understands these concerns and accepts its responsibility to employ security measures that help students enjoy their years at SUNY Poly as free as possible from threats to their safety or well-being.

Sexual Misconduct
SUNY Poly is committed to maintaining an environment in which students, faculty, staff and guests can work together free from all forms of harassment, exploitation and intimidation.

Crime Statistics and Annual Security Reports
Each year, the SUNY Poly University Police Department provides members of the campus community with information related to campus crime. Crime statistics are also submitted to the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services and the U.S. Department of Education.
Crime statistics for the past three years are available through the U.S. Department of Education Campus Safety and Security website.
Copies of the University Police Annual Security and Fire Safety Report (Clery Report) are available from the University Police Department, located in 126 Kunsela Hall. You may also request a copy by calling 315-792-7222 or emailing the Chief of Police at broadbg@sunypoly.edu

Bias Reporting
If you have experienced or witnessed a bias-related incident involving a member of the SUNY Poly community, you may submit a report using the SUNY Poly Bias Report Form.
