Students are encouraged to pursue a minor in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other field of interest.

Specific requirements for BS in Applied Mathematics majors:
- Natural Science – Physics I and Physics II (PHY 201 & PHY 202 (recommended) or PHY 101 & PHY 102 (accepted))
- Computer Language (3-4 credits)
- Computer Science course (3-4 credits)

*General Ed Elective: choose four (4) of the following seven (7) general education courses:

Social Science 4
American History 4
Western Civilization 4
Other World Civilizations 4
Humanities 4
Fine Arts 4
Foreign Language 4

**Open Electives allow students to take courses in areas of interest. These courses can be used to complete a minor in Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, or other field of interest.
