The Career Fairs
Career Services hosts two fairs each academic year. In the spring, we have our Career Fair and in the fall, we have our Fall Career & Internship Fair. These events provide students and alumni the opportunity to meet prospective employers face-to-face to explore careers and learn about full-time, part-time, internship and co-op opportunities.

The Fall Career & Internship Fair is heavily focused on internships because the recruitment cycle for summer internship opportunities takes place in the fall. Alumni are welcome to network with employers and students graduating in December have the opportunity to find employment before graduation.

Etiquette Events
In the fall, Career Services hosts its Etiquette Dinner which allows students to learn proper dining etiquette and how to engage in a meaningful conversation in a business networking event, function or setting.

In the spring, Career Services partners with the Office of Alumni Engagement to host a Mock-tail Networking Event which allows students to learn the proper etiquette for drinking at work functions and networking events. Students will also learn how to pay attention to social cues and engage with prospective employers and peers. Check Handshake to stay on top of all the career development programming and recruitment events for your major!

Mock Interview Day
Mock Interview Day brings students and alumni to a round table networking event, where employers hold group mock interviews to help students practice, prepare, and learn how to interview. This event is also considered a networking opportunity as students are paired with an employer that recruits in the industry related to the student’s major.
