| Official communications from the Registrar and other offices are sent to SUNY Polytechnic Institute email. The day after the SITNet ID is activated SUNY Poly email can be accessed from sunypoly.edu/contact/email-intranet. | |
| Online and hybrid courses open seven days before the term begins to give students access to course information. | |
| Online courses: | Course, textbook information and all class participation is online. Online courses have the letter "W" appended to the course section code (e.g. 35W). |
| Hybrid courses: | Hybrid courses meet in-person and online. The course professor determines the in-person attendance and online participation requirements. Hybrid courses have the letter "H" appended to the course section code (e.g. 01H, 11H). |
